| Hi Rachel, Holly is doing wonderful. She is in great health and she is such a happy dog. She has been such a good puppy and she brings us lots of joy. Everyone has fallen in love with her; the vet and staff, the groomer, and members of my family. Rachel, you have been great. Thanks for answering any questions I may have concerning Holly. We will forward some new pictures. She just got her summer hair cut. She is one spoiled pup and she knows it. I hope all is well and you will here from us soon. Thanks for everything. | Without question finding a good breeder is the first and most important step to insuring that the family adopting the puppy gets a healthy, well socialized one. With that in mind, I could not recommend Rachel Johnson any more highly, for anyone looking for a cocker spaniel. While my family has owned, and loved several dogs in the past (including 2 cocker spaniels), these dogs were usually bought from pet stores. We were naïve when it came to what is involved in making sure that the new member we were bringing into our family would be getting off to the right step. The Internet made us more savvy. Through it we learned about how a quality breeder takes painstaking efforts to make sure that all the puppies born to his or her liter is as free as possible of any genetic defects. We learned how a good breeder begins the socialization process, to make sure the puppy will adapt easily to the family it will be adopted by and other pets in the household. Rachel Johnson’s meticulous devotion to these tenets is clearly evident in our sweet puppy Lucy. Lucy’s loving, playful, devoted, confident nature is a direct reflection of her first months of life with the Johnsons! We were kept abreast of our “baby’s” important dates, such as shots, vet appointments, and when she was micro chipped. We also received pictures of our puppy on a regular basis, which helped make the wait (somewhat) tolerable. Even more impressive than what Rachel has done before we took ownership of Lucy, is how she remains very much a part of our, and Lucy’s life to this day. Whenever I have any type of question, whether it is about potty training, or a case of the “sniffles”, Rae is always quick to respond with her expert advice. Perhaps the highest praise I can bestow on Rae and her family is this. When the time comes to adopt a second cocker spaniel we will once again make the three hour drive to this wonderful lady’ s home without a single thought of looking elsewhere. We love Rae, Ed and Sandy Kanitra *Update* PS: On November 9, 2008 my wife and I once again made the trip to northeastern Pennsylvania to pick up our second Aine cocker spaniel, Ricky. We love this mischievous little guy and are so delighted to have two of these great dogs. Ricky loves his big sissy Lucy, and follows here everywhere! Again thank you to Rae and her family for raising such a beautiful puppy!! |

Hi Rachel! I've been meaning to send some pictures along of Watson for some time now, but things have been pretty busy. Also to thank you for getting him to us. He is such a wonderful part of our lives and definitely keeps us both busy. He is very happy and healthy, and is famous in the neighborhood. We can't walk him without people yelling out "Watson!" and coming over to play. He adores every person (and every dog) that he meets. He goes out on long walks twice a day and meets lots of people. He loves to run and play ball. We're gearing up for his 1st birthday next month. He'll be having a little party with his "girlfriends", two beagle/lab puppies that live across the street. Hope all of your dogs (and you!) are doing well! -Abby and Jeff Smith

Although I am not a Rachel "granddaughter", I am a "daughter" and Rachel was the "bestest" mother a puppy could ever have - well, next to my sister Lucy's new mother, Amanda. I was raised to be a very proper and attentive young lady. I don't beg, am extremely polite and just love everyone, especially my baby sister. My "boyfriend", Reese and I had a beautiful litter of puppies. I just love the little ones and try to take them under my wing and teach them all that I have learned - sometimes it's an exhausting process! This is all because of the patient care, understanding and love that I received from Rachel and the other wonderful cockers who lived with us. Lucy, is my baby sister and she is Reese's daughter, so in some strange way we are related, and she looks just like her daddy too!! But, it all started with Rachel, whose kind heart reached out to my present mommy and daddy when they were suffering the loss of their 14 year old cocker, Sammy. I was sent to help them over the rough spots and we became a family. Thanks Rachel for letting me go - although it was a little hard at the time - and for giving me such a wonderful foundation in my childhood!! Love, Lilo XOXOXOXOXO
Rachel, I realized the other day that I hadn't sent you any pictures of Ella in quite some time. She's doing really well, and is getting great socialization with other dogs, as well as kids. Everyone says that she's the cutest dog they've ever seen! She can be very mischevious, but she's also a great lap dog. I hope all is well with you and your dogs, as well as all of Ella's siblings. Best, Drew
Hi Rachel, Taffy is one year old now. She is a wonderful dog, much like our earlier Cocker who was with us just over 15 years. Will in the photo is 3 years old, and they make a wonderful pair, seemingly both carefree and full of energy. Regards, Eric & Cathy Wolfgang
Hello, Giving you some pictures on what Memdi looks like these days. Memdi adapted quite well in our home. She loves to cuddle against our legs or on our lap. Greets everybody with the wagameter in high speed. This is what we call her tail going back and forth. Memdi loves to fetch tennis balls with my sons. She continues on with her parent's tradition eating popcorn. Most mornings, she wakes up my sons as she licks their faces to get them up from bed. Despite knowing most of her basic obedient commands, she is still a puppy causing problems in our house. Socks are victims in every room. Some pillows are torn apart. And most of importantly, the cats are terrorized as she wants to play with them. Nothing major.. I rather have two of her than two teenage boys. I will provide more pictures during the summer. Before you know it, she will be one year old. Phil West
